what is up doctor ? hmmm my latest good discovery : the new Kokia albums !
I have added one of the song of the new album : "Kokia-Akiko"

I am quite addicted to this song.

I have been a bit disappointed by her latest album ( I was thinking about christmas gift , which was only a compilation of commercial songs)
Kokia makes perfectly her come back with this new production , a mix between lyrical and celtic influence !

i hope that after listening to this sample you will want to listen the whole album , it worth 200 %

I have just came back from cinema and it was an amazing discover: Tokyo !

in fact, Tokyo is a 3 movies in one:
3 filmmakers worked on it : Michel Gondry Leos carax and Bong Joon-ho. you can find there some famous actors like Aoi yu who plays in the third movie.
I will try to sum up without spoils: this movie give to the watcher 3 faces of Tokyo through delirious stories .. a big nonsense!

first story : Michel Gondry "Interior design"
a young couple wishes to install in Tokyo. if the intentions of the man are rather clear( to become a filmmaker) the wishes of the woman are less. the young woman seems hesitant in her decisions and doesn't seem to know what she wants to do of her life. We follow the loss of these two characters but the evolution of the trajectory of the woman is a bit more surprising, until the day she suffers from a curious transformation....

second story: "merde" by leos Carax
an horrible creature living in the sewers of Tokyo brings panic in the city . whereas he seems to trouble the peace , he becomes dangerous and starts to kill people. the army succeeds in catching him , but the creature doesn't seem to be able to talk an human language, until the day a french advocate succeeds in establishing a discussion. we learnt hat this horrible creature is calling himself "merde" (which means literally in french "shit") . the case of this man is judged but his trial seems releasing a huge debate among the japanese society : for or against Merde san?

third story: Shaking Tokyo by Bong Joon-ho
since 10 years, he is an hikikomori, he lives closed in his appartment without any contact with the oustide world. he calls for his food and doesn't look at the delivers in their eyes when they come.but this peaceful life comes to an end the day of a pizza delivery girl comes and at this right moment an earthquake occurs.. but more than the earthquake it's love . an hikikomori in love! Then start the seek and love of an hikikomori who has to go over the fear of the outside world to discover this shaking feeling!

my point of view : 3 different nonsense which gives 3 point of view of the japanese society. the woman who is seeking for her place in the society. the anwswer is quite unusual but she ends to be happy ! the second movie is maybe the most puzzling. over this debate around Merde san i think there is a deep thought about the gaijin situation. Merde san hates the japanese society , he hates everyone and becomes a sort of racist of the mankind . but there is also behind this hate , the hate of the difference , the hate of the stranger .everywhere merde comes he seems to be bring only touble and his only pleasure is to put the society up and down.
the last one is more romantic , the shaking love .... interesting way to put a finger on the hikikomori situation. the hikikomori is not the anti social type who spends his time on tv. he is more perfect like . touching love story

this movie was presented at the cannes festival

everyone i urged you to watch it !! really interesting puzzling maybe first but worth to be watched

Love me if you can (2004) an Alice Wang movie starring Ariel Lin

I have seen this movie a few days ago.. but I had some difficulties to write a proper synopsis. so you can found the story plot taken in from an other website. but no synopsis can describe this story, to watch it is the single way to get the atmopshere.
I am fond of Taiwanese/Chinese movies because they have always this silly atmosphere. the characters are evolving in the story at a slow rate, there are these meaningful silences, no word is added for nothing. to make short not a noisy movie filled with meaningless dialogs. the stor plot is sometimes difficult to follow but all in all , the feelings are true and the characters love and hurt each other.... and discover what is hidden in their hearts.
sad end but it was necessary to have such an end. the love part couldn't end with something happy where the characters find naturally their path.
to finish with I have found the acting of Ariel Lin (actress in popular Taiwanese drama like Itazura na kiss) very convincing in her role and she incarnated with an interesting acting this role of the cousins. very different to her current role

The other still lives there on her own: odd jobs, small conflicts, small thugs and long walks on her red motorcycle. The film tells their reunion in a Taiwanese port subject to the law of criminals. "Love me, if you can" is the story base on a pure love story between two innocent cousins who believe they are the "Liang Ju" in this life.Through thousands years apart, through all the time traveling, sex change and life cycling, would people still believe in love? Either the choice is to face the reality or not, they need courage. Yin is a girl who believes in her faith of love. In her world, there is only one love "Liang San Bo". She will do anything to protect her love, even the price is her life. San is an outing and innocent modern Liang San Bo. Because of her innocence, her destiny of facing the disaster made her a passive person. Therefore, she is afraid to face her real heart. When she meets the strange love, her choice is to run away from it

first review: anime music Clannad OP theme second season

October is synonymous with the start of new series or the start of sequels: here we go with clannad after story

if you don't know this anime here the summary:

Plot Summary: Tomoya Okazaki is a third year high school student resentful of his life. His mother passed away from a car accident when he was younger, causing his father to resort to alcohol and gambling. This results in fights between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is injured in a fight. Since then, Tomoya has had distant relationships with his father, causing him to become a delinquent over time. While on a walk to school, he meets a strange girl named Nagisa Furukawa who is a year older, but is repeating due to illness. Due to this, she is often alone as most of her friends have moved on. The two begin hanging out and slowly, as time goes by, Tomoya finds his life shifting in a new direction.

Clannad after story is the sequel of the anime of the same name. I wonder if it will follow the story of the movie. I hope it will and at the same time I hope it won't...
this article won't revolve around the story pot of Clannad , but more around the music themes
my favorite in the first season was the ending theme " dango Kazoku " hahaha cute PV where we see a family of dango !

but more recently i had the good suprise of the opening of the second season, interpreted by Lia!

I should have started it earlier but but an amount of various events during this summer prevented me to do it.
Now I have less time but I would like to write a bit here : what can you find here ?
reviews about everything and nothing : but more probably with my centers of interests(anime, mangas music, piano , art... etc)
